How does ordering on Soils.com work?
Enter your delivery ZIP code to see which products are available in your area and at what price. Choose your material, select a quantity, pick a delivery date, and check out online. The entire process takes a few minutes. No account is required for your first order.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing is based on your delivery location (ZIP code), the material you select, and the quantity you order. Prices shown on the site include delivery to your address. What you see is what you pay — no hidden fees are added at checkout.
Is Soils.com the cheapest option?
We can't guarantee the lowest price on every order since costs depend on your location, product, and delivery requirements. What we can offer is competitive local pricing with full transparency — no bait-and-switch, no surprise charges at delivery.
Do I need to create an account to order?
No. You can complete your first order as a guest. Creating an account lets you save addresses, view order history, and reorder faster — but it's not required.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is processed securely at checkout.

Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver across 50+ markets in Florida. Enter your ZIP code on any product page or the homepage to check availability and see delivery options for your location.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is included in the price shown on the site. The price per cubic yard or ton that you see already factors in delivery to your ZIP code. There are no separate delivery fees added at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders can be delivered within 1 to 3 business days. Available delivery dates are shown during checkout so you can select the date that works best for your project.
Can I schedule a specific delivery date?
Yes. During checkout, you'll see available delivery dates and can select the one that fits your schedule. If you need a specific time window, add a note during checkout and our team will do their best to accommodate.
Where will the material be placed?
Material is delivered by dump truck and placed at the most accessible spot on your property — typically a driveway, street-side, or open area. During checkout, you can add placement notes and access instructions so the driver knows exactly where to dump.
What if I'm not home during delivery?
The driver will place the material at the location you specified. You'll receive delivery confirmation and a photo of the completed delivery. If access is an issue, we'll contact you before arrival.
Do you offer pick-up?
In some areas, local pick-up may be available. Enter your ZIP code to see if pick-up is an option for your location.

How much material do I need?
It depends on your project area and the depth you need to cover. Use our calculator to get an accurate estimate — enter your dimensions and the tool will tell you how many cubic yards or tons to order. We also include a recommended buffer for settling and compression.

Topsoil is the nutrient-rich upper layer of soil — it supports plant growth and is used for lawns, gardens, and landscaping. Fill dirt is subsoil with little to no organic content — it's used for grading, filling holes, and building up elevation. Fill dirt is more stable over time because it doesn't decompose.

After Your Order
How do I track my order?
After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details, so check your spam folder if you do not see it. As your delivery date approaches, you'll get reminders and updates. A photo proof of delivery is sent once the material has been placed.
What if I ordered too much or too little?
If you need more material, you can place an additional order at any time. If you ordered significantly more than needed, contact us as soon as possible — we'll do our best to help, though once material is delivered it typically cannot be returned.
What if there's a problem with my delivery?
Contact us by phone, text, or through the contact form. Our support team handles issues directly and works to resolve problems quickly. We're not a generic call center — you'll talk to people who understand materials and delivery.
